Training Workshops
The Emergency Food and Shelter National Board Program (EFSP) offers training opportunities for
both Local Boards and Local Recipient Organizations (LROs). The training assists Local Boards
and LROs in the administration of the EFSP. Topics covered include the responsibilities of the
Local Board, State Set-Aside Committees, LROs, and the National Board. There is also a large
focus on cost eligibility and documentation of expenditures.
EFSP Hosts Training Webinars
On Wednesday, March 21, 2007 and Thursday, March 22, 2007, the EFSP will host two unique training opportunities for Local Boards and Local Recipient Organizations (LROs). While the training content will be similar to the workshops EFSP has done through the years, travel is not necessary because you can participate from your desk – all you need is a computer with an internet connection and speakers as the training is online.
